High waves are forecast over the Suez Canal coast and the Red Sea - up to 3.5 metres high, according to the EMA forecast on Thursday.
This will be accompanied by light rain over South Sinai as well as certain southern regions along the Red Sea such as Halayeb and Shalatin.
Strong winds will dominate across areas of Greater Cairo and much of the south of the country from Friday through Saturday.
Strong winds will also stir up sand in the New Valley governorate as well as South Sinai and Upper Egypt from Friday through Wednesday.
Temperatures
Greater Cairo, Nile delta, and the North Coast will see hot and humid days but moderately cool nights.
South Sinai and Upper Egypt will see extremely hot days and moderately warm nights.
Humidity will increase the felt temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
Greater Cairo and Nile Delta will see highs of 33-34 degrees Celsius from Friday through Wednesday.
The North Coast will see highs of 31-32 degrees.
South Sinai will be much hotter with highs of 37-39 degrees and northern Upper Egypt will see 35-39 degrees.
Southern Upper Egypt will see hotter weather with highs ranging from 41-44 degrees.
