This was done to accommodate the delay in the arrival of some high school certificates to students who obtained them from a foreign country, according to Ayman Ashour, the higher education minister, on Wednesday.
High school graduates who obtained degrees from a foreign country or through a foreign educational system are subject to a different set of application procedures in enrolling at local universities than those who graduated from the national Thanaweya Amma system.
These applicants must submit the necessary certificates to the coordination office of the ministry, which is located at Ain Shams University, according to the minister.
