On Wednesday and Thursday, there is a chance of rain in some parts of northern Egypt, home to Matrouh and Alexandria, said the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA). Rain may extend to areas in Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta.
Chances of light rain will continue in northern Egypt on Friday.
Cairo and northern Egypt governorates, such as Alexandria and Port Said, as well as northern Upper Egypt governorates, such as Fayoum, Minya, and Beni Suef, will all witness warm weather until Monday.
Moderate weather will prevail in Matrouh in northwestern Egypt during the daytime and in all areas across Egypt during the night.
However, the weather remains hot in South Sinai, including Sharm El-Sheikh, and extremely hot in southern Upper Egypt, home to Luxor and Aswan.
The temperature in Cairo and Nile Delta will range from 30 to 31 degrees for the highs and 23 to 24 degrees for the lows until Monday.
In South Sinai, the temperature will be in mid-30s degrees Celsius during daytime and in mid-20s degrees Celsius during night.
Those heading to the North Coast should expect a consistent, nice temperature of 27-28 degrees Celsius throughout the weekend. They may enjoy cooler temperatures in the evenings, with lows of 21-22 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt will experience slightly higher temperatures of 32-33 degrees Celsius until Monday.
Meanwhile, southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 39-41 degrees Celsius and lows of 26 degrees Celsius.
