5th edition of Egypt's Turathna Exhibition kicks off Sunday

The fifth edition of Turathna (or "Our Heritage") Exhibition for handicrafts and heritage kicked off on Sunday at the Egypt International Exhibitions Centre in New Cairo.



Turathna is organized by Egypt's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA).

The exhibition will run through Saturday and be open to the public daily from 11am to 10pm.

The event brings together hundreds of artisans, innovators, and entrepreneurs from around Egypt to showcase their products to visitors.

The exhibition seeks to help small handicraft producers and revive traditional crafts by promoting them to a local an international audience.

Last year, the fourth edition of the exhibition featured the participation was attended by 1,100 vendors specializing in heritage products. It was also attended by representatives from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Sudan, and Libya.
