Egypt's Decent Life initiative opens doors for donations to Palestine

Egypt’s Decent Life initiative foundation announced on Monday which bank accounts Egyptians can donate to in order to aid and support the Palestinian people amid the ongoing fighting.

In its statement, the foundation expressed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people and expressed regret over the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip “which threatens international peace and violates international law and the principles and objectives of the UN’s charter.”

The Decent Life initiative is a holistic presidential initiative inaugurated in 2021. It is centred on rural development, encompassing a series of national infrastructure projects with the goal of elevating living standards, improving infrastructure, and providing essential services, including healthcare, in 4,658 villages.

The foundation is receiving donations through the following four bank accounts numbers:

On Sunday, Egypt's Red Crescent dispatched emergency medical aid to Gaza via the Rafah border crossing. 

Since Hamas launched operation Al-Aqsa flood on Saturday, around 1,000 Israelis have been killed. Meanwhile, 704 Palestinians have been killed and 3,900 wounded.
