The former labour minister Kamal Abu-Eita and several board members of the syndicate took part in the demonstration.

The participants were seen holding Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against Israel and the US.

According to a statement by the syndicate, ambulance vehicles for blood donation stood in front of the syndicate's headquarters in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, as part of the syndicate’s commitment to offer all possible support to Palestinians.

On Wednesday, the Journalists Syndicate held a protest at its headquarters in Cairo in support of the Palestinian people.

Students of the American University in Cairo also marched at the university campus expressing their solidarity with Palestinians amid the Israeli aggression against Palestine.

Since the start of the Israeli airstrikes on 7 October, more than 2,750 Palestinians have been killed and over 9,700 have been injured.

Meanwhile, Hamas attacks on Israel killed more than 1,400 and injured hundreds.

For 10 days in a row, the Israeli occupation has cut off water, food, and electricity for the Palestinians in the strip and rained missiles on Gaza round the clock, destroying hundreds of homes and leaving a million people without shelter.
