According to the head of NRIAG, Dr Jad El-Qadi, on Thursday, the eclipse will be visible in parts of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, northern and eastern parts of South America, the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic region, and the Antarctic region.

El-Qadi added that the timing of the eclipse coincides with the full moon of the month of Rabi' al-Thani in the year 1445 AH.

The entire eclipse will last approximately 4 hours and 25 minutes. The partial eclipse, from its first to second phase, will last about 1 hour and 17 minutes.

The partial eclipse in Cairo will begin at 21:35:18 local time, peak at 22:15:18, and conclude at 22:52:35, NRIAG added.

Furthermore, the eclipse can be observed in Egypt at NRIAG's main headquarters in Helwan, the Qatameya Astronomical Observatory, and the Regional Centre in the New Valley.
