Aid bound for Gaza from Japan arrived on Wednesday at El-Arish International Airport, the JICA said in a statement. The shipment carried relief supplies such as tents and blankets.
Furthermore, the Japanese government announced additional humanitarian assistance amounting to $65 million for Palestine, in addition to the previously approved emergency humanitarian aid of $10 million.
The Palestinian death toll from Israeli bombardment of the strip has reached 10,560 people, including 4,324 children and 2,823 women.
Additionally, more than 25,000 have been wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
