The EMA expects moderate weather during the daytime and cool weather during the night across much of the country, including Greater Cairo and Upper Egypt.
In Cairo, the high is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and will gradually increase by one degree until Sunday.
Nighttime in Cairo will bring cooler weather, with temperatures of 13-14 degrees from Tuesday through Sunday.
Temperatures in the North Coast will be similar to Cairo’s, with a highs ranging between 20 and 22 degrees from Tuesday to Sunday.
Lows of 12-14 degrees are expected during nighttime in the North Coast.
Meanwhile, Southern Sinai will experience warmer weather with daytime highs of 24-26 degrees and lows of 16-17 degrees at night.
People in northern Upper Egypt can expect moderate weather during the daytime with highs of 21-23 degrees from Tuesday through Sunday, and cold weather at night with lows of 9-10 degrees.
In southern Upper Egypt, highs will range between 24 and 28 degrees from Tuesday to Sunday, and lows of 11-13 degrees at night.
Winter began in Egypt and the rest of the northern hemisphere on 22 December, and will last for 89 days.
