Temperatures rise over 30 in South Sinai and Upper Egypt in first week of Ramadan

Egypt will experience a remarkable increase in temperatures ranging from seven to nine degrees across the nation as the country welcomes the first week of Ramadan, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

Luxor and Aswan in Upper Egypt will see highs of 35 degrees and lows of 15 degrees.

Sharm El-Sheikh and Dahab in South Sinai will see 31 degrees during the daytime and drop to 17 degrees at night.

Northern Upper Egypt from Beni Suef to Assiut will see highs of 31 and lows of 11.

Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs in the upper twenties and lows in the mid-teens.

The North Coast will be cooler with highs of of 26 degrees during the daytime and lows of 12 degrees at night.
