Temperatures will slightly increase on Wednesday and Thursday. However, meteorologists advise against wearing light clothes due to anticipated rainfall and strong wind next week.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects warm weather in Greater Cairo, the North Coast, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and southern Upper Egypt in the coming days.
Hot weather is expected in northern Upper Egypt.
Nights will be cold or moderate, said the EMA.
Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast expect highs of 20-25 degrees Celsius and lows of 12-16 from Sunday to Friday, the EMA added.
South Sinai expects highs of 26-24 degrees and lows of 14-16, according to the EMA.
North Upper Egypt governorates such as Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Minya will see warmer days, with highs ranging between 23 and 29 degrees and lows of 11-13 degrees.
Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea governorates, south Upper Egypt, will see highs of 27-31 degrees and lows of 14-15 degrees.
The EMA forecasts a 30 percent chance of light to moderate rain on parts of the North Coast and the Nile Delta on Thursday and Sunday.
