Higher temperatures are expected across most of Egypt through the end of Eid Al-Fitr over the following week. Don't forget to wear a cap and opt for sweat-friendly clothing if you are planning to spend some time outdoors this weekend.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects Cairo and the North Coast, including Alexandria and Matrouh, to experience a slight increase in temperatures during the Eid holiday, which extends until Sunday.

In Cairo, it is advised to find shade as temperatures could reach highs of 29 degrees Celsius and lows of 18 by Sunday.

The North Coast will enjoy warm weather with highs of 24 and lows of 16 by Sunday.

Heading to South Sinai? Places like Sharm El-Sheikh, Dahab, and Nuweiba' will have hot weather, with highs of 31 and lows of 21 until Sunday.

Southern Upper Egypt, including the beauties of Luxor and Aswan, will remain slightly below the mid-thirties throughout most days.

In northern Upper Egypt, from Beni Suef to Assiut, expect highs of 30 and lows of 16 almost every day until Sunday.

Don't worry about rain in Cairo, as no rainfall is expected in the coming days.

Daytime temperatures, including in Cairo, the North Coast, and Sinai, may reach and even exceed the 30s by next Wednesday.
