According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), dusty winds are expected on Sunday and Monday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, Suez Canal cities, Northern Upper Egypt, the North Coast, and Sinai.
These winds will be accompanied by significantly higher temperatures, reaching 44 degrees in Upper Egypt and 40 degrees in Greater Cairo during daylight, causing low visibility throughout the two-day timeframe.
The weather is anticipated to be relatively cool nationwide at night on Sunday and Monday, with temperatures of 28 degrees.
Starting Tuesday, temperatures in Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to rise to 35 degrees in the morning and 21 degrees at night.
South Sinai will experience higher temperatures of 40 degrees in the morning and lows of 26 degrees at night.
Those heading to the North Coast should expect cooler weather, with highs of 28 degrees and lows of 19 degrees.
In Northern Upper Egypt, the temperature will reach 38 degrees during the daytime and 24 degrees at night.
Meanwhile, the weather in Southern Upper Egypt will remain hot throughout the week, seeing highs of 45 degrees and lows of 28 degrees.
The summer season formally begins on Friday, 21 June.
