"On the World Public Service Day, I extend my greetings and appreciation to all public servants of state's administrative apparatus and to everyone who performs their duties with honour, seriousness, and dedication," El-Sisi posted on his official Facebook page.

"I call upon them to renew their resolve to serve our beloved homeland and Egypt’s honourable citizens," he added.

Furthermore, El-Sisi emphasised his support for efforts towards the comprehensive development of the state administrative apparatus at the levels of human resource efficiency, digital transformation, and information technology.

He described these as the fundamental ways for the Egyptian State to build its renaissance and achieve comprehensive development.

World Public Service Day aims to honour the value and virtue of community public service, emphasise the role of public service in the development process, recognise the efforts of public servants, and inspire youth to pursue careers in the public sector.
