Light to moderate rain and potential flooding are likely in several Red Sea areas, such as Halayeb and Shalateen, and popular tourist destinations, like Ras Banas and Marsa Alam.

The southern governorates of Luxor, Aswan, and New Valley will also be affected, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

The rest of Egypt, including the capital Cairo, will see sunny and humid days and cooler nights.

The EMA warned drivers against early morning fog on rural roads and highways.

Highs in Greater Cairo and Nile Delta will hover between 36 and 37 degrees Celsius, while feels-like temperatures are expected to reach 38-39 degrees from Tuesday to Saturday.

The North Coast will be cooler, with temperatures of around 32-33 degrees, feeling like 35-36 degrees.

In South Sinai, the mercury is expected to record 39-40 degrees, which could feel like 42-43 degrees.

Northern Upper Egypt will experience actual temperatures of 39-40 degrees and feels-like temperatures of 41-42 degrees.

Meanwhile, the deep south will experience feels-like temperatures of 40 degrees, up one or two degrees from the actual degree.
