The Egyptian and German sides have finalized the articles of a new agreement to establish these schools according to a scheme detailing the collaboration between the two sides.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Education and Technical Education Ministry, the two sides discussed the latest updates on the project, which is being rapidly implemented, including choosing the appropriate school buildings that adhere to Germany's modern educational building standards. They also discussed the integration of Egyptian expertise.
The statement added that these schools would be managed through a collaborative effort that involves preparing modern curricula that complement Egypt’s existing educational programmes.
The schools would also have a strong German language component.
Teachers selected for these schools would be trained through special programmes in coordination with German educators.
During the meeting, the statement continued, both sides discussed ways to develop the educational process, pre-university education, and education reform.
According to the statement, Abdel-Latif said the ministry aspires to further cooperate with the German side by activating new programmes contributing to Egypt's 2030 vision for sustainable development.
On the other hand, the German Ambassador reiterated the importance of Egypt as a partner in various fields, particularly education, read the statement.
He expressed Germany's commitment to strengthening relations with Egypt by creating an educational system that meets Egyptian society's evolving needs.
