In an official statement, Al-Moslemany called for prioritizing the exploration of regional and global futures through scientific thinking, logical reasoning, and insights from political science and other academic disciplines.
He emphasized that media content should feature scholars, experts, academics, and intellectuals instead of promoting superstitions.
The chairman condemned the promotion of fortune-telling and pseudo-scientific claims, describing them as an insult to intellect and a trivialization of knowledge. He pointed out that fortunetellers' popularity rests on baseless and random predictions lacking any scientific foundation.
Al-Moslemany stressed that the media must play a pivotal role in combating ignorance, championing science, and promoting rational thought.
