From 3:00am on Tuesday to 3:00pm on Wednesday, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea will experience wind speeds reaching 40–70 km/h and waves rising up to 2.5–4 metres.
The Mediterranean will also see rough conditions, with wind speeds reaching 40–60 km/h and waves rising to 2–3.5 metres.
The EMA forecasted that parts of the northern coasts and the northern Delta will experience intermittent light rainfall on Tuesday.
Strong wind activity stirring sands and dust is also expected in Egypt's deep south, the Red Sea Governorate, and South Sinai.
After days of scorching heat, Egypt finally catches a cooler break from Tuesday until Sunday.
In Greater Cairo and the Delta, highs will fluctuate between 31°C and 32°C, and lows will dip to a refreshing 18°C–20°C.
The northern coasts will remain relatively mild and breezy, with highs ranging between 24°C and 25°C and lows settling between 17°C and 19°C.
In northern Upper Egypt, temperatures will gradually climb from 31°C to 34°C through the week. Nights will bring lows of 18°C to 21°C.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s deep south will see daytime highs between 36°C and 38°C and nighttime lows of 23°C–25°C.
