According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), temperatures are firmly shifting into summer mode following the Eid Al-Adha holiday, with hotter-than-usual conditions expected across much of the country.
From Monday through Saturday, Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are bracing for highs of 36°C on Monday, climbing to 37°C for the rest of the week. Nighttime lows will offer slight relief, hovering around 23°C.
Along the northern coast, conditions will be slightly milder, with highs bouncing between 29°C and 27°C. Nighttime lows will dip to 19–20°C.
The heat will intensify in northern Upper Egypt, with highs expected to range from 36°C to 38°C, while nighttime temperatures are expected to ease to between 22°C and 24°C.
Southern Upper Egypt will see the most extreme heat, with highs ranging between 41°C and 43°C, while lows will remain between 25°C and 26°C.
