According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), Greater Cairo will climb from 35°C on Thursday to 37°C at the weekend, before dipping slightly to 36°C on Monday.

On the North Coast, conditions will be milder, with highs of 31°C on Thursday and 32°C by Monday.

Northern Upper Egypt will hover between 37°C and 39°C, while the deep south faces another scorcher, peaking at 43–44°C on Saturday and Sunday before easing to 42°C on Monday.

Humidity is expected to push “feels-like” temperatures 2–4 degrees higher across much of the country.

While occasional breezes may offer brief relief, forecasters say the overall outlook is for a stifling, uncomfortable weekend.
