The ministry added that El-Sisi also instructed officials to prepare a detailed report on Khairat’s condition and provide continuous updates on any developments.
Khairat, 78, was hospitalized on Sunday following a sudden health setback.
On Monday, his manager, Nevine Nazif, told Al-Ahram that the musician’s condition had improved significantly and was now stable. She said Khairat had suffered from a severe cold that developed into a chest infection, prompting his admission for observation.
Nazif confirmed that Khairat had never reached a critical stage and has since been moved to a regular hospital room. Doctors reportedly expect him to be discharged within days as his health continues to improve.
Born in 1947, Khairat is one of the Arab world’s most celebrated musicians, with hundreds of compositions in his repertoire.
Throughout his long career, he has written scores for numerous films and television series, earning multiple awards for his contributions to music.
