Eid Al-Fitr will commence next Monday, 28 July, the Head of Egypt’s Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research Hatem Ouda announced on Sunday.
Eid Al-Fitr is a religious feast celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of the holy month of fasting, Ramadan.
The festivities last for three days.
