The April 6 Youth Movement has announced it will hold a political awareness campaign in Cairo’s parks and gardens today to mark the Sham El-Nessim holiday. Many Egyptians spend the holiday outdoors in public spaces.
It is not the first time that the movement has organized political awareness campaigns. Campaigns were held before on the constitution, under the slogan “know your right.”
The April 6 Youth Movement played an essential part in the build up to the Egyptian Revolution.
