Mubarak’s daughters in-law released after interrogations

Mubarak’s two daughter-in-laws, released today, presented proofs early this morning that they gained their land and business before marrying Egypt’s ousted president’s sons

Ahram Online, Friday 29 Apr 2011

The judge, Assem El Gohari, heading the illegal profiteering cases, has released the two daughters-in-law of ousted president Hosni Mubarak, Heidy Rassekh and Khadiga El-Gammal.

Today’s interrogations lasted until the early hours. They presented before the judge documents that prove ownership of their lands, villas and companies before being married to their husbands as a proof that those assets don’t belong to the ousted President’s family.

Furthermore, each signed official papers authorizing the judge to review their bank accounts in and outside of Egypt.
