Giza's governor says that reports that a Christian woman who converted to Islam is being held captive in the Saint Mina Church are false

There is no woman held captive in the Saint Mina Church in Imbaba, says Ali Abdel Rahman, the governor of Giza.

Yesterday, 500 salafists gathered at the church in the Cairo suburb of Imbaba demanding to free a woman they said was detained there after having converted to Islam. Subsequent sectarian clashes left nine dead and 100 injured.
