Giza Governorate expects renovation expenses of vandalized buildings to reach EGP 6 million

Giza Governor Ali Abd El-Rahman will meet with representatives of the Arab Contractors on Wednesday to set a timeline for renovating the Virgin Church in Imbaba which was burned and severly damaged during recent sectarian clashes.

The meeting will also cover arrangements to renovate all other vandalized buildings including several houses, a coffee shop and a bakery.

The expenses for renovation are expected to reach EGP 6 million all of which will be covered by the Governorate.
