Initial investigations reveal the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit

A conscript died and another was injured on Sunday in a fire at a Central Security Forces camp in Upper Egypt’s Aswan governorate.

Eight fire trucks arrived at the camp, according to Al-Ahram Arabic website, and contained the fire.

Initial investigations revealed the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.

In a similar incident last August, eight army conscripts were badly burned in their bunkers in Ismailiya governorate.
