Experts defuse homemade devices found in ground-floor lavatory of Dakahalia governorate's main court

Two homemade bombs were found in the premises of the courthouse in Dirkinia, Dakahlia governorate, and were defused without going off.

Both bombs were placed in a lavatory located on the ground floor. Lawyers noticed two strange-looking wired objects earlier today and informed security personnel.

Upon checking them, a bomb expert confirmed they were explosive devices and the building was evacuated shortly afterwards.

A source said each bomb consisted of a black plastic bag containing explosive materials. They were both connected to a primitive timer.

No major trials have been held in Dikirnis' courthouse.
