The Italian embassy in Cairo has announced the resumption of some consular services after they were suspended following a terrorist attack.
Some services, including visa applications and passport services, will resume on Wednesday, the embassy said in a statement.
Services will be increased next week, but some will remain suspended until suitable arrangements can be made.
The announcement included a website link for visa applicants.
The Italian consulate in downtown Cairo was attacked on 11July by a car bomb that killed one person and caused severe damage to the historic building.
The explosion completely destroyed some consular offices, including the visa office.
