Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi spoke on Tuesday with French President Francois Hollande in phone call where they discussed a number of issues, the Egyptian presidency announced in a statement.
The statement, issued Tuesday afternoon, said that the two presidents discussed the latest regional developments in the Middle East as well as bilateral relations between Egypt and France.
France is reportedly in talks to sell two Mistral helicopter carriers to Egypt after their sale to Russia was cancelled in August.
