The natural gas pipeline located south of Arish exploded in the Tuesday early hours, according to Egyptian TV. ‎

A huge blast caused the pipeline to catch on fire. The pipeline that passes ‎through Sinai and extends to Israel and Jordan, was attacked three times earlier ‎this year.‎

No ‎casualties have been reported thus far, according to Egyptian TV.‎‎ Firefighters are now trying to put out the flames. ‎

Many Egyptians have been protesting against exporting natural gas to Israel since toppled ‎President Hosni Mubarak’s tenure.‎

The culprits behind the previous pipeline bombings were never found.
