All passengers on Sinai plane crash died: Russian embassy in Egypt

A Russian passenger plane carrying 217 passengers and 7 crew members crashed on Saturday

The Russian embassy in Egypt facebook page announced that there are no survivors on the Russian passenger plane which crashed early Saturday in Egypt's Sinai.

"Unfortunately, all the passengers of flight 9268 Kogalymavia Sharm el-Sheikh - Petersburg died. We express our condolences to the family", the embassy posted in Russian.

A Russian passenger plane carrying 217 passengers and 7 crew members crashed on Saturday morning in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula. The crash was due to a technical failure, according to Egyptian authorities.

 Egypt has not yet released a death toll.
