Mohamed Hegazy, the official spokesperson of the Cabinet, said Dar El Fouad hospital discharged Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf late last night after he underwent a series of medical tests. He added that the prime minister was hospitalized after he suffered from extreme exhaustion because he has been working long hours and holding numerous meetings round the clock to form a new government. This morning, Prime Minister Sharaf resumed his consultations to attempt to put together a new government slate acceptable to the public.
