Cairo Criminal Court has postponed on Tuesday the case against osama El-Sheikh, former head of Broadcast and Television Union, accused of wasting public money to September 17.
El-Sheikh will remain detained until the next hearing.
El-Sheikh is accused of buying overpriced screening rights of ten different items without the consultation of the Union’s specialized committees, resulting in a total waste of LE 19 million and 600 thousand of public money.
