Three people were killed and seven injured in a traffic accident on Saturday in the coastal governorate of Matrouh, Al Ahram Arabic news website reported.
The accident took place on the north coast sea highway when a microbus over-turned.
Earlier this month, two were killed in a collision when a truck collided with a tractor on a main road north of the Nile Delta governorate of Kafr El-Sheikh, about 130 km (80 miles) north of Cairo.
According to figures by Egypt's Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), a total of 14,403 road accidents in the country in 2014 led to the death of 6,226 people and the injury of 24,154 others.
Traffic accidents in Egypt are often blamed on bad driving, poor infrastructure and loosely enforced traffic regulations.
