Unknown assailants planted two explosive devices in North Sinai's Al-Arish that went off as two security vehicles were driving by. No injuries were recordrd.
The small bombs caused damage to the facades of surrounding buildings' as well as shattering windows, eye witnesses told Ahram Arabic news website.
The coastal international highway was sealed-off near the police officers club following the attack. Security forces fired warning shots as part of attempts to arrest the assailants.
