High temperatures are expected in Egypt on Wednesday, Egypt’s Meteorological Authority told state news agency MENA.

The weather will be slightly cooler on the north coast, but the rest of the country should brace themselves for balmy temperatures.

Winds spreading sand and dust will be active in northern Upper Egypt.

Cairo is expected to witness highs of 33 degrees Celsius and lows of 16, while the coastal city of Alexandria will see highs of 28 and lows of 15.

Tourist resort Sharm El-Sheikh will witness highs of 30 and lows of 20 degrees Celsius. 

Warm weather is expected to last until the end of the week, before temperatures start decreasing again.
