Egypt's temperatures will reach 30 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country on Monday, Egypt's Meteorological Authority (EMA) told state news agency MENA.
Warm temperatures will spread across the North Coast and unseasonaby hot temperatures will be seen in the Delta, Cairo, and northern parts of Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will decrease dramatically, however, starting Thursday, EMA head Ahmed Abdel-Al said in a phone call on Ten TV channel, with expectations of a drop of 10-12 degrees Celsius.
Monday in southern Upper Egypt will witness hot weather in the morning and cold temperatures at night.
Visibility will decrease as morning fog descends on northern Egypt.
The Red Sea and the Mediterranean will see moderate waves between one and two meters high.
Cairenes can leave their coats at home on Monday as temperatures in the capital are expected to hit 30, compared to 28 on Sunday.
But they should keep a sweater handy because nighttime will see a low of 16 compared to 15 on Sunday.
Alexandria will enjoy a moderately warm 26 during the day, and a chilly 12 at night.
