Warm and dusty weather is expected to prevail across Egypt until Friday, a statement by Egypt’s meteorological authority said.

March in Egypt usually marks the beginning of the spring season where the weather is sunny and moderate.

On Thursday, Cairo will see a high of 32 and a low of 15 degrees Celsius. The Mediterranean city of Alexandria will enjoy a high of 25 and a low of 13 degrees.  

According to the meteorological authority, dust will lead to the disruption of maritime navigation in ports on the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.

The South Sinai resort of Sharm El-Sheikh is expected to see a high of 29 and a low of 19, while Hurghada on the Red Sea will see a high of 30 and a low of 15.

Upper Egypt's Luxor will see a high of 35 and a low of 15, while Aswan further south will see a high of 35 and a low 12.
