Police to separate pro- and anti-Mubarak protesters during ousted president's trial

The Ministry of Interior will concede to requests to separate at the Mubarak trial his supporters from the families of the victim's of the revolution, who have been threatened

A group of Mubarak supporters announced on one of their Facebook pages that the Minister of the Interior Mansour El-Eissawy has decided to separate the Mubarak supporters from the families of the martyrs as they gather before the courthouse where ousted president Hosni Mubarak is standing trial . during the next session of Hosni Mubarak’s trial.

The Facebook page “Abanaa Mubarak” (Mubarak’s children) claimed that El-Eissawy made this decision upon the martyrs' famlies’ request, after threats they allegedly received last Saturday.

The trial of former president Hosni Mubarak and his sons will be resumed tomorrow, Monday.

The previous two sessions of the trial in August witnessed violent clashes between Mubarak’s supporters and the families of the martyrs outside the court at the police academy in New Cairo.
