The Egyptian military police has arrested and are interrogating 111 protesters for storming the Israeli embassy and attacking the Giza security building

Egypt's military police has arrested 92 protesters for attacking and storming the Israeli embassy, bringing the arrest toll to 111.

Another 19 protesters were arrested for attacking the Giza security headquarters on the same night.

Egypt's ruling military council told the state-run media agency, MENA, that the general prosecution is interrogating the suspects, who will later stand trial in the High State Security emergency court.

The emergency courts have jurisdiction under the emergency laws imposed by the ousted regime, who abused the laws against citizens and was one of the factors that set the scene for Egypt's January 25 Revolution.
