Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, gave his testimony in court for the trial of the toppled president Hosni Mubarak. Sessions will resume tomorrow Sunday 25 September. SCAF deputy head and army chief of staff Sami Anan is expected to testify in that session.

Mubarak is accused of conspiring with former interior minister El-Adly to intentionally kill thousands of peaceful protestors during the 25 January uprising in several Egyptian governorates for the purpose of protecting his regime.
