Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is set to receive his Slovenian counterpart President Borut Pahor in Cairo on Monday, in the first official visit by a Slovenian president to the country.
The two leaders are expected to hold a press conference following a meeting at the presidential palace in Cairo.
Slovenia's Ambassador to Egypt Tatiana Meskova said that President Pahor is set to meet with the prime minister and parliament speaker during histwo-day visit.
The ambassador added that the two states are expected to sign several memorandums of understanding on investment, environment, media and consumer protection.
