Meteorologists predict a slight drop in temperatures on Wednesday, with Cairo seeing a high of 36 degrees Celsius and a low of 25, according to state-run news agency MENA.
Egypt has been witnessing a heatwave since the beginning of the week, with temperatures in capital Cairo reaching 40 degrees on Sunday.
However, Wednesday should see the heatwave ending in Cairo and the North Coast, with the Mediterranean city of Alexandria seeing a high of 31 degrees and a low of 24.
Upper Egypt will still be very hot in most places, with Luxor seing a high of 43 degrees, Aswan 42, Qena 42 and Sohag 37.
Temperatures in Sharm El-Shiekh, meanwhile, will range from a daytime high of 40 degrees and a nighttime low of 29 low.
Hurghada on the Red Sea coast will see a high of 39 and a low of 28.
