Diplomats and foreign ministry employees in show of solidarity with anti-SCAF protesters

Around 100 Egyptian diplomats and foreign ministry employees joined the protest in Tahrir Square on Tuesday.

Some of the diplomats brought their families and stayed in the square for around five hours.

Earlier this week, 250 Egyptian diplomats released a statement condemning the use of force against protesters and calling on the military council to transfer power to a civilian government.
