On the occasion of Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's visit to Paris, the French embassy in Cairo published online an infograph summarizing the Egyptian-French relations since 2015 by issues and in figures.

Official visits :

• Three presidential visits between the two countries since 2015
• 18 ministerial visits between the two countries.

Economy :

• France is considered the 6th largest foreign investor in Egypt.
• Egypt is considered the first market for France in the Near East region
• There are 160 subsidiaries of French companies and enterprises with 40,000 employees in Egypt.
• L' Agence Franciase de Developpement  "French Development Agency" got 1.9 billion Euros Funding commitment in Egypt.

Defense

• There is a high level dialogue between the two countries concerning the fight against terrorism and regional crisis.
• There is a strong coordination between the French and Egyptian armies through the High military committee chaired by the Chiefs of staff.
• There are no less than 70 cooperation activities each year between the two countries.

Francophonie and Education

• There are at least 2000 students enrolled within 11 Francophone programmes at Egyptian Universities.
• There are currently 2500 Egyptian students in France , 70 of whom have got French scholarships.
• There are 8000 pupils in 14 approved French schools and 37,000 in 50 bilingual schools
• There 18,000 French learners at the Institut Francais and Alliance Francaises

Cooperation and Research

• There is a training of 40 Egyptian civil servants at L'Ecole Nationale d' administration  {the French National school of public administration} "ENA" et L' Ecole nationale de la magistrature { The National school of the Judiciary}  "ENM" every year.
• There are currently 5 French research centers in Egypt specialized in humanities and archeology.
• There are 35 French archeological missions working in Egypt each year.
• There are grants for 40 young Egyptian researchers and 20 French-Egyptian teams each year.
