Egypt's meteorologists expect moderate weather to hold across Egypt over the coming three days, with slight increases in temperature.

Temperatures in Cairo and the Nile Delta provinces are predicted to see highs of 24 degrees Celsius and lows of 16 degrees on Saturday, with highs expected to rise one degree every day through Monday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority said on its official website

Highs across the north-eastern coast and North Sinai region are forecast to be virtually the same as the capital over the next three days, while lows are predicted to range between 16 and 18 degrees.

The northern part of Upper Egypt, including the governorates of Minya and Beni Suef, is predicted to see stable lows of 13 degrees, while highs will increase from 25 to 27 degrees through Monday.

The southern part of Upper Egypt, meanwhile--where the ancient cities of Luxor and Aswan are located--will see slightly warmer weather with highs around 29-32 degrees.

The weather is expected to yield strong winds which will disturb navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez on Saturday, and the Mediterranean on Monday.
