Northern Egypt is facing a second day of dust storms on Friday as unstable winter weather continues.

In a statement on Thursday, the country’s meteorological authority said strong winds are set to continue in the northern parts of the country, with higher activity on the Mediterranean and Red Sea, leading to a disruption in naval navigation.

Rain is also expected in Cairo, Sinai, and the Nila Delta, with cold weather at night.

The changeable winter season has caused serious road accidents as well as property damage since the beginning of the month.
