Twelve tourists, boat crew rescued after vessel caught off Hurghada coast

Twelve tourists and a boat's crew were rescued by Egypt's Rescue and Environmental Protection Society after their boat caught fire on the Red Sea off the coast of Hurghada on Wednesday, Al-Ahram Arabic news website reported.

The Rescue and Environmental Protection Society dispatched a rescue vessel after receiving an SOS signal from the boat, which was five miles from Hurghada.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
