Relief teams from the Armed Forces and Cairo’s Civil Protection Authority are still searching the rubble for survivors or bodies, the source at Cairo governorate added.

The governor of Cairo ordered officials to provide housing to the residents of the collapsed building.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Social Solidarity has formed a relief committee to temporarily place affected residents in a youth center three day. The ministry also alloted EGP 100 to each resident for daily living expenses.
